From 25th Oct. to 28th, SHIROMA/KIM SONGHE/SOLAKZADE's joint trade show/exhibition was held at Vantan Design Institute in Tokyo. The 1st trade show of SOLAKZADE that was held at Westin Hotel Tokyo on 11th and 12th Oct. was mainly for buyers of optical boutiques.

But this time, the joint trade show/exhibition was held during the term of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week TOKYO 2012 S/S. So many buyers of clothing boutiques and press people came to see our products.

SHIROMA is the Japanese popular brand that made runway debut in this Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week TOKYO 2012 S/S. This brand started about 5 years ago so not new. Famous for super luxurious deerskin clothing treated specially.

KIM SONGHE is the popular artist famous for so unique chandeliers created by using secondhand stuffed toys.

Thanks to these 2 very popular brands, many buyers of clothing boutiques and press people came to our joint trade show/exhibition. The start of SOLAKZADE's participation was the collaboration of SHIROMA's eyewear. Mr. Nishiya from SHIROMA gave SOLAKZADE his eyewear design and then Ryo from SOLAKZADE made SHIROMA's eyewear by his hands at our atelier. And during it, Mr. Nishiya lightheartedly invited SOLAKZADE to the trade show/exhibition he planned. We, SOLAKZADE, also a little too lightheartedly participate it and invited only 4 client companies.

The Director of SHIROMA, Mr.Nishiya, the Designer of SHIROMA, Ms. Shiroma and the artist Ms. Kim Songhe kindly introduced so many buyers and press people to SOLAKZADE and they got much interested in our vintage and antique eyewear and what SOLAKZADE is doing.

This time, we took many personal orders from buyers of popular clothing boutiques all over Japan, fashion stylists and press people. And in addition, the meetings with the 4 companies which made appointments in advance with us, were so important and stimulating. 2 of the 4 companies are the most high-sense eyewear boutiques in Tokyo and the rest 2 companies are popular clothing brands. The 4 companies will not only carry our vintage eyewear, but also make exciting collaboration with us. We are so excited now!

10月25日から28日までの4日間、渋谷のバンタンでSHIROMA、KIM SONGHE、SOLAKZADEの合同展示会を開催しました。

10月11日、12日のIOFT期間中に恵比寿のウェスティンホテルで開催したSOLAKZADEの展示会は眼鏡店のバイヤーさん向けでしたが、今回は東京コレクションの2012年春夏の展示会期間中にあわせて、アパレルのバイヤーさんやプレスの方々がメインで来られました。

10月19日にランウェイデビューを果たした注目のブランドSHIROMA（ちなみにブランドとしてはすでに5年ほどされていて、最高に贅沢な鹿革を特殊に加工したレザーなどで人気のブランドさんで、既に国内外に取扱が多数あります。）と、ぬいぐるみを使ったユニークな超売れっ子シャンデリアアーティストのKIM SONGHEさんという業界でも大注目の2ブランドとの合同展示会とあり、全国から、そして海外からもバイヤーさんやプレスの方々がたくさん来られました。SHIROMAとのコラボレーション（SHIROMAでデザインを、SOLAKZADEで制作を担当）でアイウェアを作ったことをきっかけにSHIROMAのディレクター西家さんから気軽に誘われたこの展示会でしたが、気軽に参加しすぎてSOLAKZADEからはほとんど一般告知はかけさせて頂いておりませんでした。。！！

SHIROMAディレクターの西家さん（大阪出身）、デザイナーの城間さん（沖縄出身）、そして今月出産（！）でお腹の膨らんだKIM SONGHEのソンへさんの温かい心遣いを毎日受け、たくさんのバイヤーさんやプレスの方々にSOLAKZADEのビンテージアイウェアに触れてもらい、知ってもらうことが出来ました。

人気ショップのバイヤーさんたちや、スタイリスト、プレスの方々の個人オーダーをたくさん頂いた今回の展示会。そして、事前にアポイントをお取り頂いていた4社の方々との濃密な時間でとても大きな出会いとなりました。前回のIOFT期間中の展示会にスケジュールの都合でお越し頂けなかった方で、この期間に合わせてお越し頂きました都内の最高感度なアイウェアセレクトショップ2社の皆さん。さらには2つのアパレルブランドのデザイナーさん達にお越し頂きました。これから皆さんと、ただ直営店舗で取扱い頂くだけでなくもっと踏み込んだ面白いコラボレーションが生まれそうな兆しがあります。いまからかなりワクワクしています。4社の皆様、どうぞよろしくお願い致します。
